Chrysoberyl is an exceptionally hard gemstone composed of beryllium aluminium oxide, making it the third-hardest natural gemstone. The name derives from Greek words meaning "golden" and "beryl," though it is scientifically distinct from the beryl family.

This crystal specimen comes in a protective pottle with identification label. 

Crystal measures approx. 1.9cm x 1.2cm x 0.7cm.
Pottle measures 3cm x 1.8cm.
