This is an exquisite lens of Quartz with excellent clarity, phantom line markings and green and red inclusions of 'Garden', that has been reverse 'Intaglio' carved with a two swimming dolphins in an underwater scene feeding on kelp.
Intaglio carving is the process of etching out a design from the rear, so it can be viewed as a 3D picture from the front. This process is done by hand by master carvers and is a painstakingly long process to complete each individual masterpiece.
