Hackmanite is a rare, sulfur-rich variety of the mineral Sodalite, celebrated by mineralogists and gem collectors for its mesmerizing optical properties. Hackmanite exhibits Tenebrescence: "reversible photochromism." When exposed to UV light, pale stones (usually white, gray, or pink) rapidly darken to deep pink, violet, or purple. When stored in the dark or exposed to white LED light, the original color returns.
These crystals comes in a protective pottle with identification label.
Sold individually. One will be chosen randomly for you.
Each crystal measures approx. 1.8cm - 3cm.
Pottle measures 3cm x 1.8cm.
