An "Agadir ammonite" is a type of ammonite fossil found in the Agadir region of Morocco, known for its rich Cretaceous-era fossil deposits. These ancient marine mollusk fossils date back approximately 100 to 120 million years and are characterized by their distinct, coiled, chambered shells, which were used for buoyancy and movement.
